La Pedrera Science Fellows

The La Pedrera Science Fellows Program was created based on to create a network between the different generations of participants in the science programs of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation: Youths and Science, Crazy about Science, Nature Campus, Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge (BIYSC) and others.

One of the program’s aims is to learn about the academic and professional careers of the fellows in order to analyse the impact of the programs created by the Foundation to promote scientific vocations. Another goal is to get in touch with former participants who might become key assets in the activities currently being held within the science programs.

In 2018, a Fellows Committee was set up, formed by participants and partners from different generations and programs. Fellows with different careers and experiences, who share the experience of have participated in one of the Foundation's science programs, can network through working groups. We have also started organizing activities such as gatherings, workshops, training courses, lectures, hackathons and others.
