Nature Spaces Network at the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation. MónNatura Pirineus, MónNatura Delta de l’Ebre, Mont-rebei, Montserrat – Coll de Can Maçana and Alinyà Mountain, start a new season with a range of activities to get the most out of nature.
Main news for 2019:
MónNatura Pirineus, Visitors get closer to nature through outings, children's workshops, animal tracking censuses and much more. This year, two new features are worth mentioning in particular: #PirineusNatura and La brama del cérvol.
MónNatura Delta, storytelling and a bird watching day for children are some of the new activities at the facilities to get to know the Delta de l’Ebre. Visitors can also spot flamingos, sail down the river on a pontoon and go on a traditional fishing trip.
Mont-rebei Gorge. We recommend visiting some of the lesser-known attractions in this iconic area, such as the ruins of Altimiris and the caves surrounding them. Remember that you must book your parking space in advance.
Montserrat-Coll at Can Maçana. Visitors can enjoy this section of the mountain via access along the main paths and to the rock formations.
Alinyà Mountain. This year the main novelties are: bird watching outings, bird ringing sessions, workshops to make remedies, essential oils and ratafia, visits to the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve de Alinyà, and outings to see the vultures and chamois.
The Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, through its Nature Spaces, is working towards recovering and increasing awareness of Catalonia's natural heritage.
